Easter 2013-Picture Overload.

This was Isaac's second Easter and he loved finding Easter Eggs but it did not hold his interest for two long before he was done.  So this Easter we had to take some breaks and then start the egg hunting back up again.
Wyatt had fun to but was a little disappointed that the Easter Bunny at our house only stuffed the eggs with candy and not little rings, money and stampers. Whats wrong with my kid? lol.

First up we have the Easter Egg Hunt at our local park in town. They had a really good turn out and both boys enjoyed themselves.
Here we are waiting for the fun to begin.
And we are off....

Both boys with their stash.
The park also had a petting zoo there. Isaac loved petting the animals but Wyatt was leery of them.  Every since he got attacked by the three cats at my brother in laws house he stands back from animals and is afraid to pet them.  Wyatt stayed in the background and just looked at them and he was perfectly content with doing that.

After the park the next day we did  our traditional Easter Egg dying at the grandparents house. Wyatt really enjoyed coloring with crayons on his and then dying them. This is the first year Wyatt has really gotten in to dying eggs. Isaac on the other hand was not to huge of a fan yet. We tried and it ended up messy as ever and it could not hold his attention at all. Maybe next year for him will be fun.
Vince even got in on the fun. After dying eggs we then eat supper, hung out and then were on our way home around 9.

Saturday we got up and made ourselves a cake.

I seen this cake floating around the internet and decided to give it a try. So easy and it turned out great!! Wyatt and I had a lot of fun making it and eating it. We took the cake out to Pam and Jims for Easter the next day and then to my Moms and Joes. No one complained and the leftovers were gone in no time.  Wyatt was such a good helper and had so much fun he wants to do this again next year. Fine by me maybe then Isaac can get in the fun to. Isaac just set on the floor and eat out of the bag of jelly beans while Wyatt, Vince and I decorated.

After the kids went to bed I set off to stuff some eggs and set up my little maze to their Easter gifts as you can see above. Everything was a huge hit it seemed. Wyatt and Isaac love the stools and are using them religiously. Vince and I did not want to do alot of toys this year so we did each one toy and then the rest things they could use. So they got stuffed animals, stools with their names, body pillows and one toy. Does not sound that great when you say it out loud or read but but they both loved what they got. Wyatt has been carrying his stuffed frog around alot and Isaac has been sleeping with his basketball bunny like crazy.

Gosh he looks so big here. Slow down son. Before I know he will be in college. Ugh :(

After our house Easter we went to the Pettijohn side of the family.
The kids gifts from Grandma and Grandpa.

Uncle Neil and Aunt Jessie made the best Aunt and Uncle list with this pinata. Oh my Gosh the kids LOVED it. Definitely doing that for Wyatt s birthday party this year.

After the pinata we did some Easter Egg hunting where Grandma and Grandpa Pettijohn got the coolest stuffing egg award ever. They stuffed the eggs with all those little toys and money that Wyatt wanted and he could not open his eggs fast enough to see what he got.
Isaac loved the head of the pinata and every chance he got decided he wanted to wear it. Goofball.

Last event of the day was my moms and Joes. Where the kids got spoiled some more.

Easter Egg Hunting and Playing.
Isaac loves any kind of ball. Him and Wyatt got a basketball and football for Easter from my mom and Joe and they loved it. We all stayed outside and enjoyed the weather and tossed the football around. Isaac would just go from one person the the next. He ran his little butt off and was exhausted at the end of the night. I think we may have a football/basketball player on our hands.

Wyatt got to ride his four wheeler that he got from Christmas last year for a good while. Wyatt is definitely going to be my outside person. He loves hunting, four wheeler s  dirt bikes, etc. I cannot wait. Now I would love to buy some land in the country someday to build on and let the kids have all the fun they want. Until then we will have to use Joes. Two hour road trip here we come this summer. All in all I would say it was a good Easter. Definitely busy but good.
