Christmas with Pam and Jim Pettijohn
We started off with this right off. While Isaac was sleeping we all eat and visited around the table some. It felt weird being able to eat without being interrupted. Something I took for granted before I had a baby in the house again. Being a parent you love your kids but you cherish those times when you get to enjoy a meal in peace or even go to the bathroom.
Anyway, after we eat we did a little of this....
We got to see what was in our stockings from Pam and Jim.
Wyatt was happy to have gotten monkeys in a barrel.
So him a Neil played with those for awhile. When Neil is home that is who he wants and not Papa. He loves his Papa but when Neil is home none else matters. Wyatt has to sit by him at the dinner table and follows him around everywhere. It is cute.
Handing out gifts to everyone. Jim tried to help Wyatt hand out gifts but Wyatt was not having it. I have to say this is the first year that Wyatt actually enjoyed and understood Christmas and it was neat watching him and his reaction to things.
Opening gifts.
Isaac taking it all in.
He let Vince help in the end.
Isaac got a handheld baby food maker, a sing a ma jig and some clothes.
Checking out his baby food maker.
Wyatt showing Isaac how his sing a ma jig works.
Wyatt helping Grandma Pam open gifts.
Wyatt opening his camera he got. He loves to take pictures and if you give the boy a camera he is all over it. He takes some good photos though. Pam actually made him a photo album of all the photos he took and only a few were crappy. The boy has an eye for things. Anyway Pam and Jim got him a camera for Christmas that is just like an adult camera only for kids. His camera even has games you can play on it. He loves it!! Wyatt also got some board games he could play.
Helping PaPa open his gifts.
Isaac hanging out with Aunt Jessi.
Still chilling with Aunt Jessi.
Isaac loved his Sing a ma jig.
We had to take Lucy with us also.
Wyatt playing with his camera and taking it easy with Uncle Neil.
A family photo that looks good finally.
Playing the game Neil and Jessi got for him for Christmas. He loves Whack a Moll.
That wraps up all the Christmas's.
