It is funny we ended up doing the same thing we did last year for Father's Day. The only difference is last year I was pregnant with Isaac and miserable with the heat. This year it was not near as bad not being pregnant.
Anyway we ended up going down to my mom and Joe's farm by Caster River and boy was it fun. It is a two hours drive from were we live but once we got there we had a blast.
Straight for the river, which mom and Joe are five minutes from.
Got to have our life jackets.
Wyatt loves his Car's one but he hated that it had to be so tight on him.
Sorry buddy, you are not drowning from my stupidity.
We ended up doing one more year of swim lessons and from here I think he is good. When we were at the river though he had not started swim lessons yet so we had to have that vest on. I was not comfortable taking a chance. You can stand in the water a good way out before it just drops and nothing. That is for adults though. Children can only go a little ways out and then need to stop.
Isaac out for the first time in the water. We held him the whole time and had him for about ten minutes and then it was nap time. He is for sure though my water baby. He loves getting a bath and playing in the pool. Vince and I went out and bought him a life vest also for next time. He will be walking by then.
After the river it was tractor time for Wyatt and PaPa Joe.
Isaac got to hangout with Grandma Dee since it was so hot outside.
Here they are watching some television.
Some more tractor time-PaPa and Wyatt.
It did cool off towards the end of the day, so we took Isaac out for a bit to get some air.
He was enjoying being in the grass.
Look at those long legs. Someone is going to be tall.
Giving him a driving lesson. The boy loves to drive.
When I am off on Thursdays and Fridays, me and the kids always go outside and wait for Vince to drive up and get them around five and drive into the driveway. It may sound dumb to most but my kids LOVE it and look forward to it every time. Isaac gets to drive and always has a grin from ear to ear.
Anyway back to business.
Vince taking Wyatt on the four wheeler for the first time. He loves it!!!
Boys and their toys, lol!
We stayed the night and then came home the next morning.
Family photo with Vince!!!
It was a rough weekend and Isaac pooped out.
After we got home we grilled out for Vince's dad at our house. I was pooped and did not get any pictures. Sorry to disappoint.
Vince's parents hung out with us for awhile, talked, played with the kids and then headed home. Nothing to exciting, just some family time.
