Wyatt's Fourth Birthday
We did something separate with my mom and Joe because they had to go out of town that weekend. So on Wyatt's birthday we went to their house to visit and so he could open some gifts. My mom and Joe also got him an ice cream cake which made his day. After supper and some visiting we opened gifts.
He got what he was wanting from PaPa and Grandma. He was wanting a semi that hauled trucks so bad and that is what he got. Of course now I have no idea where it is at, but he played with it for a good week before he lost interest. That is good, right?
Grandma and Grandpa got Isaac a little something also so he would not feel left out of the loop. Can you see the excitement coming out of him. Lol! Wyatt ended up playing with this toy also. Wyatt thought it was the neatest to have a flashlight in a train. Its the little things I tell ya.
After some ice cream cake we headed home and had Wyatt's actual birthday party on the weekend at our house.
Here are some photos from that day.
Wyatt's birthday cake. He wanted a Blue's Clue cake and that is what he got. I ask Sally Crook to make it and she did not disappoint as usual. She does all our cakes and I hope to keep it that way. I really do love her work and the taste of the cake. Anyway, Wyatt loved the cake and was very happy with it.
Some of the guests eating outside and visiting.
Feeding Isaac and visiting with Dan and Kathy inside.
Make a Wish!!
Getting ready to cut and eat the cake with Makennah Harless. I babysit Makennah and her sister Zandra and Wyatt always goes and plays, so we have all become good friends and decided to invite them to Wyatt's party.
Isaac enjoying him some cake. That was his first taste of cake ever and he LOVED it. He loved it so much we had to take him inside and hose him off on the tub. He had it everywhere.
Wyatt did not get so messy. He did enjoy the cake though.
Isaac still chowing down.
After cake we decided it was time to open gifts.
Lets see what the birthday boy got.
Cars shake toy.
Camera and camera case.
Fishing pole for the big boy.
Slip and Slide!!!!!
Thanks Grandma and Grandpa Pettijohn, you made his day.
This made his day and the kick butt tractor and shake toy the Harless's got for him.
After gift opening this was the first toy he decided to play with. Perfect for a hot day.
Al the kids loved it!
After they were burnt out on the slip and slide it was time for a jeep ride.
He even got to ride with a girl with her shirt off. Someone has it going on. Lol!
Wyatt was nice and even took his brother around once. Isaac loves this jeep as much as Wyatt so every chance he gets he gets in it for a ride. Wyatt is a good sport and usually takes him around in it, but not always.
This was Isaac after cake and fun play.
Time for nap time this boy was wore out trying to keep up with the big kids.
All in all I think Wyatt had a good time for his party. I hope so anyway.
I still cannot believe four years of his life has flew by.
Crazy!
Praying for many, many more years with our big guys.
