Easter Part 2

Easter Part 2

This post is on Easter Sunday.Vince and I got up and eat breakfast and then got ready for the morning service for church to celebrate the real reason for Easter. After the morning service Wyatt got a basket from Dan and Kathy and then we went to my in-laws house for a little bit afterwards. This Easter covers Dan and Kathy's gift and my side of the family.

Opening up his gift at Mama and Papa's. By the way Kathy he loved the bubbles!! I do not know where in the world you got them but they were awesome! The ones we get do not even really make a bubble. You have to let me know your secret place.

There he is having at it with the bubbles. He also got some bath toys and Spongebob stuff to go along with it.

The Holme's Side

Papa giving him his Easter basket.  He loved the semi's and cars in there!

Awe a moment! Oh and look I actually got him to wear his shoes that day instead of his boots. Lol.

Playing with his Easter basket gifts.

Now the Easter egg hunt. He got tricked a few times. The family that hid them put cups down that did not have anything under them.  Poor guy, he thought it was funny though.

My mom and Aunt Tina. Wyatt still looking for more eggs.

Oh yeah, found one!

Here is some leg for you mom. Aunt Tiff helping him out a little for the high places.

Aunt Tiff and Katie helping him find the last few. He found three dozen eggs!!! Someone was on an egg dying kick. Lol.  It was a fun time and even though it rained the day still turned out great. After my sides Easter gathering we went home grabbed our fishing poles and headed out to fish for a little bit.  It was Wyatt's first time and since my memory card had reached its max I decided to get just video of it. Sorry. There is nothing like watching a father and his son bond and watching Vince share and show Wyatt cool guy things. Well that was our Easter.

  1. Hehe, I love that there were "trick" places to hide the eggs. That's really clever and fun for older kids. Sometimes the egg hunts get a little predictable for them. :) Thanks for sharing!
